Derek has always liked to pursue new ideas that could change the world. Starting with a paintball and lawn-mowing “mini-empire” in Indiana in the mid 80’s, he has gone on to serve as a US Naval Officer and then found, co-found, advise, invent and invest in more than a dozen companies, organizations or new products.
