Meet the Board

  • Geoffrey Banks

    2025-2026

    President

“I'm excited to join the RDU Chapter Board for the first time in my 11 years in EO! I have benefited tremendously from EO over the years with successful exits from my 2 companies and I want to give back to the EO chapter and community at large with my contributions to Board!”

  • John Hoy

    2025-2026

    President-Elect

“I am grateful to having served on the board because I have received so much more by being associated with some smart, fantastic people.“

  • Joe Torres

    2025-2026

    Governance Chair

“To say that EO has been life-changing is an extreme understatement. The pressure of making sure we are making the right decisions every day can be very hard. To have a group of like-minded people to share that with is an amazing gift. This is why I wanted to join the board, to give back to something that has given me so much.”

  • Jason Potts

    2025-2026

    Membership Chair

“I joined the board to have the opportunity to get to know how high level entrepreneurs run an all volunteer organization. I have received a lot through EO and also wanted to give back. I have learned so much in such a short timeframe of board membership!”

  • Maribeth Christensen

    2025-2026

    Finance Chair

“I am excited be on the EO board this year. What is even better is that I am the Membership Chair which gives me the platform to tell others how much I love EO! EO offers so much variety and opportunity for both professional and personal growth to Entrepreneurs. Members can benefit from being part of a small forum where they can build “trusting” relationships as well as participate in large group learning activities that are often lead by amazing, well known speakers. The social events are creative, fun and well organized!! I truly feel like I have a supportive community that I can learn and grow with. EO has transformed me as a professional and feel honored to be a member! “

  • Wynne Dunn

    2025-2026

    Strategic Alliance Chair

I am honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to serve on the EO RDU Board. It's always been my belief that the more you invest in something, the more rewarding the experience becomes. I aim to be a valuable resource to my fellow board members and to our chapter in my role as the Chair of Strategic Alliance Partnerships.

  • Chantal Hayes

    2025-2026

    Forum Chair

As Forum Chair, I joined the board to help strengthen what I believe is the heartbeat of EO— our Forums. This role aligns with my strengths as a healthcare leader, entrepreneur, and visionary, and I’m deeply committed to fostering spaces where members feel connected, supported, and challenged to grow. I believe we rise by lifting others, and Forum is exactly where that transformation begins.

  • Dylan Gehrken

    2025-2026

    Member Engagement Chair

Over the six years I’ve been in EO, my business has gone through several transformations—each sparked by a kernel of insight I picked up through this community. I joined the board as Membership Engagement Chair because I want EO to be that same catalyst for others. Members only unlock the full value of EO if they connect early, which is why I’m passionate about making their first 100 days welcoming, engaging, and transformative.

  • Chris Cimino

    2025-2026

    Membership Engagement Chair

I joined the board because I am inspired by the caliber of leaders involved in EO and how they show up for each other. 5% conversations are an invaluable connection with other leaders and   challenge how you think about both business and life. Plus, the events are consistently worth the investment of time.

  • Jeff Cooper

    2025-2026

    Communications Chair

I am honored to join the board to better support my community, chapter, and the many great entrepreneurs building amazing businesses across the Triangle.

  • Maria Kingery

    2025-2026

    Learning Co-Chair

I’m excited to serve on this year’s board and help to bring meaningful and impactful learning events to our members. EO has been a big part of my life for more than a decade and having the opportunity to lead with other leaders has been one of my biggest benefits I’ve received as an EO member.

  • Scott Uknes

    2025-2026

    Learning Co-Chair

  • Amy Henning

    2025-2026

    Chapter Manager

“As the Chapter Manager I spend most of my time helping my board members plan events and build programs to support our members and Accelerator participants. Entrepreneurship can be a lonely road, but it doesn't have to be. Bringing people together who are committed to growth and to authentically sharing their experiences is my favorite part about working with EO!"

  • Ronnie Crowley

    2025-2026

    Executive Director

"As the Executive Director of EO Raleigh Durham, I couldn't be more thrilled to witness the growth our chapter has achieved in the past 12 months. The enthusiasm and dedication of our members have been the driving force behind this success. I look forward to building upon this momentum in 23/24 to elevate our offerings and provide an even more enriching experience for our members and Strategic Alliance Partners in the exciting months ahead."
